As you can see, I finished my Sashiko project this weekend.

I’m very happy with the way I integrated the teal color. I was inspired by plaid but I like that the final effect doesn’t scream plaid and that each of the flowers are different from the ones around them. I also love the stray petals in the corner. That’s actually why I bought this particular kit in the first place. That little detail drew me right in.

The final stitches were added during crafty day this weekend on Sarah‘s balcony. There was also some drop spindling action. The weather’s cooling down and sometimes it almost feels like Fall is already here but I’m not rushing anything. I have started knitting again though. There’s a sock in the works.
